What does the year 2011 hold for humanity? There are many speculations about this year. 1/1/11 is past. Next is 1/11/11(January 11), then will be 11/11/11, November 11,2011. Research is at our fingertips.

Number 11. It is a master number.

This number thinks of God as a giver. It is the most intuitive number. It is referred to as the number of the psychic. It also exhibits the properties of number 2 to include dynamism, charisma, leadership and inspiration.

Numerology is a science, dates back to the time of the Greek philosopher and astrologer Pythagoras of Samos.He recognized the influence numbers have on world/ personal order and timing of events. Today, numerology is one of the tools used for divination.

Number 11 represents vision. When not focused or balanced , this creates inner conflict that can manifest as fears and phobias. Number 11 carries with it illumination, deep insight, nervous energy and impracticality. There is potential growth and personal power for one who has this number in their birth-date. Although, this number can walk on the edge of self-destruction. This number offers guidance through intuitive abilities over logic.

As with everything in this world, there is a positive and negative side . Number eleven can represent transgression and peril. As a master number, eleven should not be reduced to a single number of two since as a master number, it carries with it the qualities of the number two.

The Year 2011 can be analyzed from different schools of thought. Numerology is considered a science, one can delve into numerology from a spiritual aspect, or for those interested in the occult or esoteric studies, numbers can mean different things.

There are those who believe in the term Great Shift, which refers to the magnitude of changes in collective consciousness. They believe in the changing thoughts of humanity, of how we perceive our daily reality. It does mess up the old way of thinking. The standards of many decades ago no longer apply. There was a time when family was the basic unit of society, people got married , even stayed married against all odds. Technology has taken over society in every facet of life. This year, 2011, perhaps there are more radical changes in the world of economics, religion, politics, education and other areas of relationships. Included are climate change,environmental issues and technology.

There is also a spiritual meaning to this year- eleven offers the gift of spiritual inheritance. It is believed to be the light within us all, strengthened by the love of peace, gentleness, sensitivity and insight. There is a greater awareness of Universal relationship.

The spiritual meaning of number Eleven deals directly with our involvement with the progression of life. It is a solar number according to the Cabalah and the Tarot.

Bible The sum of chapters of the four Gospels plus those of the Revelation (Apocalypse) gives as result 111: 89 for Gospels and 22 for the Revelation of John.

Isaiah 11:11 - And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

Ezekiel 11:11 - This city shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; but I will judge you in the border of Israel.

World War I ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.

11 Israeli athletes were murdered in Munich in 1972, 29 years before the 9/11 terror attacks. 2+9=11. The firefight that took the lives of the last 9 hostages began at 11:00 p.m. The terrible ordeal began on the eleventh day of the XX Olympiad. XX=1+0=1, 1+0=1.(11).

September 11=9/11=9+1+1=11; September 11 is the 254th day of the year=2+5+4=11; On September 11th are 111 days left to the end of the year.

The Twin Towers formed a perfect number 11 architecturally. The Twin Towers were each 110 stories, which is 20 elevens or 11 11, depending on how you look at it.

American Airlines Flight 11, with 11 crew members on board, was the first plane to crash into the World Trade Center. United Airlines Flight 175 was next to hit with 56 passengers (5+6=11).
